T is for Tea-Party

...and so by the good ole 'picking out of a hat' process, we were given a random letter!  Illustrating what ever we wished, as long as it was associated with the given letter. Sitting, staring at the screen thinking 'T' as well as feeling somewhat thirsty I began to doodle..taking it quite literally. I worked from the chosen doodle in Photoshop. Was much fun but thirsty work ;')

...I'm glad to say as a reward for finishing there was a lovely pot of tea waiting ; ')

Past Artworks from 'A Fishy Tale'

In the last year of my degree back in 2008, I illustrated a story which revolved around the tale of a small puffer fish named Marley. The tale told how he had moved into a new town, where fellow town fish disappeared. Only when his friend disappears, does he start to look into the mystery! It was quite a challenge as i was still fairly new at using digital means to create my artwork at the time. But, I'm pretty happy the way the spreads turned out :)

The illustrations were composed in Photoshop, using many layers and textures although the characters throughout were digitally painted.

The arrival in New-Town

Marley meets a new friend.

The disapearances begin

Marley was a puffer-fish!
